I tried compiling ROOT 2.22/08 in RedHat Linux 6.0 on a Cyrix M II
computer. When I do gmake, there's an error:
g++ -O -o /usr/share/root/bin/cint MAIN_cppmain.o \
-L/usr/share/root/lib -lCint -lm -ltermcap -lbsd -ldl -rdynamic
/usr/bin/ld: cannot open -ltermcap: No such file or directory
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
gmake: *** [/usr/share/root/bin/cint] Error 1
[root@localhost src]
Could anybody please tell me what termcap is and how I could get around
this?
Thanks in advance,
