yes, certainly, but this is not the case.
the canvas contains a few rather conservative root objects
(TH2F's, TMarkers, a TLine, TPolymarkers etc... the only probably
unusual(?) thing is a small array of TMarkers).
another hint is that the naked interactive root can also deal with the
canvas, i.e. the sequence
tf = new TFile ("foo.root")
canvas->Draw()
works w/o problems also if i didn't tell root about my creations.
