A small add-on to my previous mail(s).
I have just checked my HD type.
It's WDC ( CAVIAR ? ) AC310100B, 9671MB w/512kB Cache. According to some
technical data I have here, it's 9.5ms, 5400, 33.3 MB/s (11-20.2 MB/s).
Fons, I'd like to ask you to take benchmarks on your machine ( you
mentioned you have a 7200 disk, maybe udma, not scsi ).
