just do a reply to any message that is sent to you in reply
to a bugreport. The reply should go in that case to root-bugs@pcroot.cern.ch.
Your reply will be added to your problem report as a "followup" item (it will
be catalogued correctly if you leave the "Subject:" line untouched, especially
the (PR#) string should be preserved.

PS: in your case things went wrong (PR#10) since you or your mailer produced
and illegal return address (a rogue .cern.ch was added to the mail address).
So to follow up send a message to root-bugs@cern.ch with subject:
