Hi Valery,
Yes, we know that we should apply "Service Pack 3".
We were hoping to skip this step in going directly to VisualC++ 6.
However, considering the number of bugs found so far in VC++,
it is may be wise to install this patch and wait a few months
before going to version 6.

It would be a real nightmare if compilers on other platforms
were featuring the same number of bugs!!
Fortunately, this is not the case.
